Sources & exam-board acknowledgements

How TutorSyntax uses published specifications, acknowledges external sources and distinguishes independent study materials from official assessments.

Specifications and supporting material

TutorSyntax is an independent education resource. Some lessons and revision pathways are planned with reference to published OCR and AQA Computer Science specifications, assessment objectives, and publicly available support materials. Where third-party content is used, its source and any required permissions must be identified at the point of use.

Exam-style questions and assessments

TutorSyntax exam-style exercises are intended for practice and do not claim to be authentic awarding-body papers. Refer to official OCR and AQA websites for genuine assessment materials and the current specification for your course. We do not imply that exam-board material is free to copy or republish.

Independence and rights

OCR and AQA are independent awarding organisations. Their names are used to identify the qualifications studied. TutorSyntax is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by either organisation. Their logos, question papers, mark schemes, publications and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners. Acknowledgement does not itself grant permission to reproduce copyrighted content on a public website.

Book datasets and third-party sources have their own credits where applicable; see the chapter resource pages and the published book for dataset-specific attribution. If you believe an attribution is incomplete, contact info@tutorsyntax.com.
