TUTORSYNTAX | 100 PYTHON CODING CHALLENGES
Code It. Debug It. Solve It.
By James Cole

This companion code pack contains 100 example Python solutions (ch01–ch100),
optional starter programs and fictional sample datasets.

THE PRINTED BOOK IS SELF-CONTAINED.
The downloads are optional time-savers, not required to complete the challenges.

HOW TO USE
1. Find the relevant numbered challenge in the book.
2. Create your own program in Python 3.10 or later and run the provided test cases.
3. For Debug It / Improve It exercises, use a starter file if supplied.
4. Compare your work with the corresponding solution only after attempting it.
5. Run tasks that write files inside a new temporary folder so you do not replace important data.
6. Dataset paths are relative to the program's working directory; copy required
sample CSV/text files next to your program when relevant.

STARTER FILE WARNING
Some starter files intentionally contain incorrect code, non-terminating loops or
other errors. They exist to be repaired; do not use them as finished programs.
Interrupt a looping program with Ctrl+C in your terminal or your IDE's Stop button.

All datasets are fictional. Do not enter real passwords or personal information
when exploring password or account-related tasks.
